We are hiring for the role of Nordic Spa Night Cleaner. This opportunity is located in beautiful Girdwood, Alaska.

Located on the Alyeska Resort grounds, each Nordic Spa experience is crafted to be as individual as our guests. Featuring an indoor-outdoor experience, we offer relaxation without rules where guests can come as they are to connect with nature, themselves, and others. We are wellness redefined.  

By applying to this role, candidates selected will be invited to attend an in-person interview on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Interviews will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Alyeska Nordic Spa, located at 1000 Arlberg Ave, Girdwood, Alaska. As a thank-you for your time, candidates who complete the in-person interview will receive complimentary access to the Nordic Spa experience.

As Nordic Spa Night Cleaner, you play a crucial role on our team by ensuring our facility is ready to begin each day “picture perfect.”  You will achieve excellence in your role by upholding the highest standard of Quality in your work through an elevated level of focus on cleanliness of the facility, attention to detail and preparing guest areas for the next day of operations. 

Key Focuses  

  • Ensures all spaces, both guest facing and back of house are “picture-perfect” for optimal first impressions
  • Vacuums, dusts, cleans, sweeps, polishes, and restocks all guest areas and facilities
  • Cleaning of all public spaces including bathrooms, showers, floors, elevators, kitchens, and walls of all Nordic Spa Buildings
  • Assigned deliverables are executed in a manner that requires little or no follow-up; both in terms of timeliness and quality
  • Completes deep cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Refills and restocks guest amenities removes and restocks linens as required
  • Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals, and acceptance  
  • Other duties as assigned

 Experience/Passions/Education 

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, specifically in a Spa or Hotel preferred 
  • Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly  
  • Ability to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times 
  • Must be highly organized and able to work well independently, under pressure and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently   

Working Conditions 

This position is on an overnight shift and will require you to work in a closed facility, often independently.  You will be Working outdoors in a variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperatures ranging from –22f to +86f.   

This position will include early morning shifts any day of the week or weekend and the occasional midday, afternoon, and evening shift if needed. This position will require prolonged periods of standing and requires constant physical movement.   

Physical Demands: 

The employee is regularly required to be on their feet with frequent requirements to reach, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  There will be periods of independent work and changes in temperature from the back of the house to the front of the house.
