We’re looking for Lift Maintenance Tech professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.
What You’ll Do
As a Lift Maintenance Tech 1, you’ll play a key role in assisting with troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance as relevant to all aspects of ski lifts. These include mechanical, industrial control systems, low voltage AC and DC controls, motors, drives, and hydraulic tensioning systems. Working both independently and as part of the maintenance team. The qualified candidate’s duties may need to be performed indoors or outdoors, at heights, and in all weather conditions.

📌Be on alert & at times, on your feet for long periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
📌Work in a fast-paced, high-energy resort environment.
📌Adapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.
📌Physical demands: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneel, talk, see, hear, and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee must be able to operate hand and foot controls on vehicles/equipment. Specific vision abilities include color, and depth perception.
📌Work Environment: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, heights, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical terrain in the work environment can be uneven with poor traction; there is ice and snow outside, and wet floors indoors. Perform duties at heights.
