We’re looking for Marketing Manager professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska. 

 
What You’ll Do 
 
As a Marketing Manager you will oversee and enhance our digital presence. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing content creation processes, maintaining and updating our website, forging and maintaining agency and PR relationships, collaborating with various resort departments, and managing our social media channels. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Content Management: Oversee the content creation process, ensuring high-quality and engaging material that aligns with our brand values. Collaborate with different departments to develop a cohesive content calendar. 
• Website Management: Regularly update and maintain the resort’s website, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and traffic. 
• Agency Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with external agencies to support online campaigns. Coordinate with agencies to develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies. 
• Public Relations and VIP Hosting: Manage PR relations to enhance the resort’s brand image. Support VIP host duties with tailored digital content and initiatives. 
• Campaign Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of online campaigns and initiatives. Utilize analytics tools to derive insights and guide strategy adjustments. 
• Social Media Management: Manage and grow the resort’s presence on various social media platforms. Create and curate engaging content tailored to each platform. 
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with all resort departments to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business goals. 
• Content Creation: Create compelling digital content as required, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, and social media updates.

What We Need 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
• Previous Resort experience preferred.  
• Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry. 
• Strong understanding of content management systems, SEO, social media, and digital analytics. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Love for the outdoors and outdoor adventure pursuits.  
• Additional Skills (Preferred): 
  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation. 
  • Familiarity with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
