Housekeeping Public Area Attendant

We’re looking for Public Area Attendant professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska. 
 

What You’ll Do 
 
As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in creating an impeccable and welcoming environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and dedication will shine through as you ensure every corner of our property reflects the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. 
 
Your responsibilities will include: 

• Sweep and vacuum carpets and floors. 
• Mop and clean surfaces, including grand staircase and guest elevators. 
• Dust and polish fixtures, furniture and flooring. 
• Clean windows, doors and glass. 
• Empty garbage receptacles and ash trays in outside areas. 
• Clean public restrooms, stock toiletries and soap as needed.

Housekeeping employees receive free transportation from Anchorage on a shuttle service that departs at 7:30 AM from the Midtown Mall. The shuttle departs Alyeska Resort at 5:00 PM to return to the Midtown Mall.      

What We Need 

• Proven hospitality experience is preferred. 
• Physical demands: ability to use vacuum, mop and use cleaning equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs., push 75 lbs. or more.   
• Job requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, stooping and climbing stairs.
