As a Two Trees Bistro Food and Beverage Attendant, you have the authority to exceed guest expectations by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that coincides with our “we’ve been expecting you” sense of arrival for our guests. Your role is crucial because you are pivotal in the guest's impression of quality service throughout our hotel.  From providing efficient and friendly service to setting the stage for a personable dining experience, you will maximize food & beverage revenue while creating a lasting impression on our guests.   • Welcomes and seats guests entering the restaurant in a prompt and courteous manner. 
  • Creates and maintains the flow of guests into the restaurant to ensure our culinary team and servers can deliver exceptional service. 
  • Maintains an organized reservation system and keeps track of table availability and wait times. 
  • Develops excellent product knowledge about the menu and feature items and can answer any inquiry. 
  • Maintains accuracy and attention to detail when taking and delivering guest orders. 
  • Adheres to all regulations governing the service of food and alcohol. 
  • Protects self, co-workers, and guests against safety hazards; reports immediately to the supervisor on duty. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Experience/Passions/Education 

  • Previous food and beverage experience is an asset  
  • Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently 
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize, produce accurate work and guest service 
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required 

 

Working Conditions: 

Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position may be required to work long shifts that include late hours, weekends, and holidays. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with guests, employees, and other stakeholders. This position spends a lot of time on their feet, multitasking competing priorities, dealing with guest issues and contributing to a culture of service excellence.
