Your role as Spa Attendant Supervisor is critical to delivering on this promise. You are expected to exceed guest expectations by leading your people to create "picture perfect" guest experiences throughout the spa each and every shift. First impressions around cleanliness are powerful and lasting: from the locker and treatment rooms to the pool deck and throughout all indoor and outdoor spaces. Qualifications

  • Begins shift by making sure locker rooms are spotlessly clean and properly stocked and remain that way through their shift (see checklist/schedule)
  • Accountable to lead and/or supervise daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep cleaning duties (see schedule/checklist)
  • Inventories against par levels and places orders to make sure their employees have the tools and materials required to be successful
  • Takes an active role in turning lockers (dirty to clean status in system) as quickly as possible so that it can be sold again to maximize revenues
  • Creates schedules that meet peak demand periods while delivering budgeted labor costs. Manages expense lines within budgeted parameters
  • Assigned deliverables are executed in a manner that requires little or no follow-up; both in terms of timeliness, scope, and quality
  • Does not allow shortfalls to operating standards to go unaddressed; supported by clearly communicated expectations and real-time coaching
  • Provides direct reports with the resources, direction, coaching, feedback, and goal setting required for their continuous development
  • Understands spaces that are clean, organized and in good repair supports the value that experiences should be as easy as water through fingers
  • Completing work processes and checklists seamlessly support the Spa value that we respect our guest’s inherent desire to be at peace
  • Personal communication, interactions and behaviors support the Spa value that everyone is welcome and everyone is equal
  • Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals and acceptance

Education & Experience

  • Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • First Aid Certificates (including CPR) preferred
  • Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for Guest Service and Health and Wellness

Working Conditions
This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with employees, guests, and other stakeholders. Working outdoors in a variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -22 F to +86 F.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to areas such as employee performance, grooming, training and policy adherence. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
