As the Digital Communications Specialist with the People & Culture Team at Alyeska Resort, you play a vital role in enhancing our digital presence and sourcing top-tier talent for our organization. Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, will be responsible for our digital marketing strategies, sourcing candidates, and overseeing our internal communications. Digital Communications 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital communication strategies across various platforms including social media, email marketing, and the company website. 
  • Create engaging content for social media channels, blogs, newsletters, and other digital platforms to promote brand awareness and engage with stakeholders. 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital communications with overall employee experience goals and strategies. 
  • Lead the posting of job openings on LinkedIn and other job boards, coordinating paid advertising as needed. 
  • Post internal job opportunities and employee news/events on employee bulletin boards and communication screens. 
  • Manage and update the company’s employee facing web content to ensure it is current and engaging. 

Talent Sourcing

  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract top talent, including social media, job boards, networking events, and other innovative methods. 
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. 
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for various positions within the company. 
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive candidate experience. 

Internal Communication & General Duties

  • Facilitate internal employee communications, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information. 
  • Post updates on internal job opportunities, company news, and events on employee bulletin boards and digital communication screens. 
  • Work closely with our People & Culture office and marketing teams to ensure consistent and effective communication internally and externally. 
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation during peak seasons. 
  • Assist with other related tasks and projects as needed. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience   

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other related fields. . 
  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the hospitality industry. 
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems. Experience with UltiPro/UKG and TalentNest preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic recruitment landscape. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.

Compensation: $20-$25. Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
