Role qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Position responsibilities:
• Guest Assistance: Safely guide guests during their chairlift embarkation and disembarkation.
• Operational Setup & Closure: Efficiently establish and dismantle lift perimeters and mazes at the start and conclusion of each day.
• Zone Maintenance: Proactively maintain the integrity of loading and unloading zones through shoveling, chipping, and raking.
• Guest Relations: Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction, ensuring guests feel valued and heard.
• Vigilance & Reporting: Stay alert to any potential issues, promptly communicating with your operator.
• Resort Ambassador: Knowledgeably inform riders about the resort's amenities and highlights of the local area.
• Ticket Verification: Assist guests at the RFID gates, ensuring all riders have valid access credentials.
• Miscellaneous Tasks: Undertake additional responsibilities as and when required.
 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Able to work outside and in inclement weather on a continual basis.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations.

  • Physical demands:  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and inclement weather conditions.
