Position summary:    The Lift Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mountain chair lifts.

 

Role qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position responsibilities:

  • Assist guests on and off chairlifts
  • Set up and take down perimeters and mazes at the beginning and the end of each day
  • Maintain loading and unloading zones
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
  • Be alert to possible problems, and notify your operator
  • Provide information to riders about resort facilities and local area
  • Assisting guests through the RFID gates, making sure everyone has valid tickets
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends 
  • Must be reliable and dependable 
  • Able to work outside and in inclement weather on a continual basis 
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations 
  • Must be able to load and unload heavy mountain bikes from chairlifts
