Room Service Server

 

Oversees and performs room service functions in hotel.

 

Main Duties:

  • Executes day-to-day operations of Room Service.
  • May complete daily report.
  • Responsible for helping to accomplish revenue, labor and operating expense budget goals.
  • Ensures and maintains Resort standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Complies with guest check procedures, cash handling, and accounting procedures.
  • Researches and resolves guest complaints.
  • Maintains communication with other departments on occupancy levels, banquets, guest functions, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, uniforms, and other matters as needed.
  • Maintains par levels of dry goods, china, linen, and silverware.
  • Ensures all Room Service staff adheres and Resort customer service standards.
  • Delivers and removes meals, and beverages.
  • Assists Room Service and restaurant staff when needed.
  • Assists with club lounge
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of two years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills as a team leader, with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  Must have or be able to obtain within the introductory period, the following:  TAPS card and Food Handlers Card.

Other Skills and Abilities: Must be at least 21 years of age.  Work weekends & holidays on a flexible schedule.  Accurate cash handling.
