Accounts Payable Manager
Position summary: The accounts payable manager is responsible for managing the company accounts payable process and function in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position directs and oversees the daily management of processes associated with the payment of invoices, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to vendor payment, processing of purchase orders, receiving, invoices and payment of invoices, and communication with buyers. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounts payable.

Essential Functions, Skills and Experience: Must have a working knowledge of Excel and Word. Must be able to work accurately with numbers and records. Experience with hotel information system Opera is required. Four year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Physical demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
