Food and Beverage Coordinator

The food and beverage coordinator provides administrative support duties to the Food and Beverage team. This position is at the Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska.

Main Duties:

  • One line for reservations will funnel through F&B coordinator (He/she will have access to all reservation systems)
  • Attend all F&B meetings to ensure F&B team is updated accordingly
  • Co-ordinate with receiving to make sure all F&B office supplies are ordered as needed.
  • Answer general F&B emails for the team
  • Co-ordinate room drops with culinary team and front desk
  • Audits and daily checklists are complete and up-to-date
  • Training tracker updates as needed
  • Work with People and Culture to coordinate residence arrivals and day one resort orientation.
  • Assist in coordinating the sign off of completed training packages and making sure they make it to People & Culture (The position is not accountable for service training; this resides with the Outlet Managers)
  • Assist in inputting F&B invoices
  • Attend BEO meeting and share pertinent information with outlet managers
  • Track key dates for all employees (including kitchen) and coordinate performance reviews for the Managers
  • Create special menus in coordination with Executive Chef
  • Work with People & Culture to audit TAPs Cards
  • Help with inventory counting in the outlets (when needed)
  • Uniform inventory and ordering
  • Welcomes and connects with every customer.

  • At least two (2) years in an administrative role
  • Ability to manage tasks independently with attention to detail and focus on customer and employee service
  • Able to take initiative and solve problems
  • Business or Hospitality Degree an asset
