Qualifications

  • Delivers Quality by engaging team members to deliver picture-perfect, sparkling-clean first impressions in all public and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitors ongoing daily maintenance, preventative maintenance and deep cleaning programs; conducts quarterly facility FF&E audits. 
  • Visible in operations; supporting execution/presentation of brand standards, guest touch points and revenue optimization.
  • Sets par levels and control procedures to make sure their employees have the tools and materials required to be successful.
  • Creates business plans and budgets for their area that support the overall financial goals of the organization.
  • Reviews financial outcomes daily, weekly, monthly; making adjustments to optimize revenues and margins.
  • Leads recruitment; creating a work environment, value proposition and processes that attracts and retains quality employees.
  • Assigned deliverables are executed in a manner that requires little or no follow up; both in terms of timeliness, scope and quality.
  • Does not allow shortfalls in operating standards to go unaddressed; supported by clearly communicated expectations and real-time coaching.
  • Provides direct reports with the resources, direction, coaching, feedback and goal setting required for their continuous development.
  • Theirs and their team's communication, interactions and behaviors support the Spa value that everyone is welcome and everyone is equal.
  • Builds a collaborative workplace, supporting the Spa value of community, common goals and acceptance.

Experience/Passions/Education

Minimum 3 years of management experience within the hospitality industry

  • Post secondary degree or diploma
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
  • Inventory, Revenue Management, and Budgetary Knowledge
  • Comfortable with technology and open to new learning
  • Passion for nature, adventure and the outdoors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • A true passion for mental and physical wellness

Working Conditions
This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with employees, guests and other stakeholders. Working outdoors in a variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -22 F to +86 F.

Physical Demands  
The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to areas such as employee performance, grooming, training and policy adherence. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
