Event Manager
Alyeska Resort is a 300+ room resort nestled in the Mountains of Girdwood, Alaska located 45 minutes south of Anchorage. The Event Manager is responsible for the management and planning of meetings, incentives, conventions, wedding and social occasions from initial handover from the Sales team until departure, including the final settlement of account. You will work closely with external clients to prepare and deliver information in a timely and accurate manner through banquet event orders, resumes, rooming lists, email and communication meetings to ensure the highest level of event detail is implemented and distributed to the hotel operations team to execute.
Reporting to the Director of Events, this role will focus on event planning and management to ensure Alyeska Resort is the market leader in Alaska. This role directly drives revenue and increases market share across all segment of the Resort including but not limited to; Rooms, Food & Beverage, Mountain and Spa. The ideal candidate is results-oriented. A collaborative leader with a strategic and analytical focus.
