Salary: $18.00 per hour

As the Resort Activities Attendant at Alyeska Resort, you will execute exceptional experiences for our guests throughout their stay. This dynamic position encompasses both summer and winter operations and is suitable for a person who is passionate about providing exceptional service for guests of all ages through a wide variety of activities. The successful candidate will be welcoming, engaging, and empowering.  They are open to change, and quick to adapt to varying needs of hotel clientele.

 Position responsibilities:  

  • Execute a diverse range of guest activities suitable for both summer and winter seasons with the objective of improving our overall guest experience
  • Ability to multi-task, with exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Setting up chairs, loungers, and other pool furniture
  • Greet and welcome guests to the pool area in a friendly manner
  • Providing guests with towels, refreshments and attending to their requests
  • Advise guests and ensure rules and safety protocols are being followed
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness of pool, hot tub, change rooms, and gym areas
  • Ensure the facility is always in the highest level of cleanliness and sanitary condition and report any equipment deficiencies
  • Maintain locker rooms and ensure all amenities are stocked.
  • Tend to campfires, movie nights, and holiday celebrations
  • Maintain the inventory and accessibility of equipment for guest usage
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Ability to engage with people of all ages
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards and codes
  • Collaborate with team members and colleagues to provide seamless service to our guests
  • Identify opportunities to surprise and delight our guests
  • Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders and internal communications as required
  • Communicate information in a timely manner to the hotel and partners
  • Ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Physical demands: This position primarily involves standard office work, including sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and performing tasks such as typing, writing, and phone communication. Capable of occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds, as well as tasks involving bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: This role occasionally involves extended hours and weekends to accommodate peak business periods. Operating within a dynamic, fast-paced guest-centric setting, you will maintain a high level of interaction with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
