Night Audit

Solving guest issues effectively while demonstrating professionalism, a positive attitude and completing the Night Audit procedures.  To organize receipts from all resort outlets for accounting, complete all nightly reports and perform night audit. You will check guests in and out as well as answer reservations calls for future stays. Be ready and willing to assist the security and/or bell staff.

Main Duties:

  • Separate and organize receipts from all resort outlets for accounting
  • Check guests in and out and be able to settle guest accounts/accounting issues
  • Complete all nightly reports and run night audit
  • Solve guest issues effectively and in a positive manner without supervision
  • Be ready and willing to assist the security and/or bell staff
  • Compile morning reports to distribute to all resort outlets
  • Take reservations calls and enter on-line reservations
  • Gain knowledge of resort events and activities, as well as a basic knowledge of Girdwood restaurants, shops, hiking trails, etc
  • Comply with the Emergency Procedures Manual in the event of a medical emergency or fire alarm

Skills/Requirements: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform/complete each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Previous hotel audit and/or front desk experience preferred
  • Computer literacy required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working alone on overnight shits
  • Cash handling experience and strong math skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
